Partner Yoga & Massage

Did you know yoga is even more fun with a friend? Grab your partner, family member or friend, and learn how to make yoga an interactive experience. This special workshop will explore the benefits of partered stretching and massage, including a gentle warm-up, sequenced partner yoga poses, and longer-held positions where you learn how to both give and receive assisted stretching and light massage. Gain new tools and techniques to take home with your loved ones to go deeper into stretches and expand your relaxation during restorative poses. All types of partners are welcome (you must be comfortable giving & receiving hands-on touch with your partner). No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Sunday, Mar. 2nd 1:00-3:00pm ⎮Love Story Yoga Larkspur

Foundations of Arm Balancing

Take your arm balancing skills to the next level as we explore the foundations of arm balancing poses including bakasana, parsva bakasana, eka pada koundinyasana 1 & 2, and more. This workshop will break down each pose into accessible components and demonstrate progressions you can incorporate into your practice to continue advancing your skills. We will cover proper preparation for arm balances, key aspects of alignment, and the physical & mental benefits of exploring more challenging poses. All levels welcome – if you can do a plank, you can do this workshop (i.e. you must be free of any wrist injuries and comfortable supporting weight on the hands).
